Why are republicans afraid of the "tyranny" of government but make constant excuses for tyrannical?

There are many forms of tyranny. Many of these people are simply hypocrites with their backs against the wall. Lots of people think of their political side as a team, and that team has to win. That is why they are obviously losers and this country is becoming a loser, too, just like them. We have it very good in America, but we waste so much talen, energy and ideas that it makes one sick if they think about it too hard. Good Question.
