How much food do you give and how do you know?
your vet can usually help you with the amount of feed given, and it depends on their age, work they are doing, and if they get too fat or start losing weight. We usually give the average horse 1 scoop pellets and if they are in work, 1 scoop pellets half scoop sweet. This cannot go for every horse! this is meant for that one horse but yes little often is better than all at once, some people feed their horses 3 to 5 times per day, usually high competition horses have this routine, sometimes the hay is dusty and they horse may have allergys when the hay is wet it will reduce dust Bye!
