Will African Americans ever be accorded the dignity and respect that they deserve by judges and police?

The Reverend Al Sharpton said to Sean Hannity of Fox News that African Americans are afraid of the police. What kind of society do we live in when African Americans can't even leave their homes without the fear of being sent to jail? My question is, Will African Americans ever be accorded the dignity and respect that they deserve by judges and police? I think that if we teach children in the low-income neighborhood schools the difference between right and wrong then they can avoid finding this out in prison. This is a issue really close to my heart because I work with a few people of Color and can see how difficult life must be for them. No, I don't think that it is fair that they should have to be treated that way but now and in the past it has been a fact of life. The statistics prove that there are many more people of Color than Whites in American prisions and this is due to there not being enough programs teaching people of Color our laws.
