Questions about English Shepherd lab mix puppy?

I am not familiar with english shepheds, I have had an Old english sheepdog/black lab mix and she was awesome..needed minor grooming on legs, face and tummy, and regular brushing. Had a great personality and learned quick..when she was young she got lots of fetching and walks, and as she aged, just walks.
