Whatever happened to honesty in the workplace?

I'm going to ume you are very young and haven't learned yet that when you are rude to a person they aren't going to give you the time of day. Your honest opinion was to compare a human being to a bird and reptile??? Come on...You have every right to have an "honest" opinion, but I think maybe you were trying to be funny and it backfired on you and now you're mad about it. Yes, she has a right to be annoyed. No, you aren't being crucified for being honest. You created a hostile environment in the workplace, you're very lucky that you only got sat in a corner.
